Wow what a great place, great food, and authentic as you can get 10 hours from the border. Anyone that gives anything less than four stars obviously doesn't know good Mexican food. If you haven't had good Mexican food for years and are use to Taco Bell my advice is go have a burger or Chinese and open up a table or two for real customers.
I will go back everytime in sac town.
Hell I feel like driving three hours to get the huevos rancheros rite now. -

Terrible food and service. Very dirty tables/carpet/etc. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. If you are in Old Sac and looking more Mexican food there are many options that are so much better within a few minutes away.

Dishonest owner who doesn't care about customers - takeout orders beware - he takes your money and doesn't care if you get your food afterwards. Nachos were soggy and gross.

Walking in the place is totally empty.
The place is awesomely decorated. In the downstairs area with awesome patio seating. You can eat by a beautiful fountain.
Gonna have to agree with one of the previous reviews. The gal that is the waitress, well the food has more flavor. She has clearly been doing this for way to long. The 3 stars is all the food.
The chips and salsa are always a hit. The chips are very fresh and the salsa is the same.
I ordered the combo chimichanga plate. Pork Carnitias and the Carne Asada. The plate came out beautiful and the chimi's were huge. The rice and beans looked as good as they tasted. Everything was very full of flavor and in very large portions. I had a lot left and got a to go box. The table next to me was brought out a bag with theirs, I just got a box. Ill be 100% honest if it were not for the food this would be my last trip here. The service is just not very good. -

Awful. What I got was some dried up beans. After spending $75. Not even worth my time, or yours. Even worse they wouldn't do anything about their inedible food. Pasty, caulky, nasty nasty nasty.
The taco was soggy falling to pieces with grease and the chicken. Half shredded to leather bits the other that dried into sharp strips. By far the WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD. Absolutely careless to put food out like that. Wonder what else you neglect... one nacho was heavy because they over did the cheese to hide the other ingredients they "didnt have", the other had barely anything in it. Lost a great customer, we cater to businesses that care about the food they put out.
